Telford man arrested for burglary, theft of motor vehicle

JONESBOROUGH — On Feb. 4, Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Brandon Ely, 20, of Telford, and charged him with Violation of probation, burglary and theft of a motor vehicle.
According to Sheriff Keith Sexton, deputies located Ely in the 100 block of Mill St. in Telford. During a pat down search, deputies located a vehicle title and registration belonging to a vehicle that was reported stolen on Feb. 3, and recovered on Highway 11-E. Ely also had items in his possession that were taken from the residence where the vehicle was stolen.
His bond is set at $3,000, and a preliminary court date is set for 1:30 p.m., Feb. 6, in Sessions Court.
