John Glen Reece, 60, of Elizabethton, passed away at his home on Tuesday, January 31, 2023. He was born on February 20, 1962 in Carter County.
John was retired by disability. He had worked at North American Rayon and Allemite Corporation. He was a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his father, D.W. Reece.
Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Atwood Reece; brother, Brian Reece (Kathy McElyea); niece, Constance Cole (Joe); two great-nephews, Kaleb Myers (Sarrah) and Cameron Cole; great-niece, Kara Cole; special friend, Felicia Pickens; and the best friends and neighbors, Mark Arnett, Sherry Arnett and Shannon Arnett.
No formal services are scheduled. A memorial for family and friends will be held at a later date.
