James A. Thomas, February 21, 1956 – January 20, 2023, passed away after a lingering illness to go to be with the Lord.
He was preceded in death by his father, Walter D. Thomas, and grandparents, Theodore and Mae Thomas and Arlie and Zadie Ramsey.
Survivors include his daughter, Lindsey (Michael) Massey; granddaughter, Maggie Massey; grandson, Hunter Massey; mother, Mary E. Thomas; brothers, Terry D. Thomas and Gary Lee Thomas; a number of cousins; special friends, Jeff and Debbie Stout, Jennifer Estep and daughters, Macie Odon, Malarie Guinn and Melonie Curd; special neighbors, Rachel Miller and Ella Carol Peters; and good friends, Donnie Padgett, Sherman Padgett and Linton Atkins.
Graveside services will be held Monday, January 23, at 1 p.m. at Clay Creek Cemetery with Rev. Ned Ramsey presiding. Family and friends may sign the guest register online at www.manesfuneralhome.co
