Absolutely, dangerous competition! These were some of the words heard as students at Little Milligan Elementary enjoyed two amazing Spelling Bees for grades 4th-6th and grades 7th-8th. Courageous contestants spelled words of varying levels in front of the student body as the top three spellers were recognized in each grade band category.

4th-6th grade 1st place winner was 6th grader Hayden Bunting after a fierce battle with 2nd place winner Alivia Layne, 4th grade. Third place winner was 5th grader Callie Davenport.

7th-8th grade competition yielded 1st place winner, Chase Davenport, an 8th grader. Second place was awarded to 7th grader Hannah Baird, and 3rd place went to Kasey Gilbert, also a 7th grader.
