Kevin Glen Holtsclaw, 68, Elizabethton, passed away Friday, January 13, 2023, at Churchill Healthcare & Rehabilitation. He was born September 13, 1954 in Elizabethton to the late C.V. and Elewese Street Holtsclaw.
Kevin was employed in Air Pollution Control. He loved to hunt and fish.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael “Pete” Holtsclaw.
Survivors include his ex-wife, Frankie Powell Holtsclaw; two sons, Jimmy (Kimberly) Holtsclaw and Kevin (Christy) Holtsclaw, all of Roan Mountain; one daughter, Kayla Potter, Elizabethton; four grandsons, Ethan Holtsclaw, Elijah Holtsclaw, David Miller and Bryce King; three granddaughters, Alena King, Erika Potter and Savannah Potter; one brother, Greg (Linda) Holtsclaw, Elizabethton; four sisters, Janice Birchfield, Hampton, Shelia Bishop, Elizabethton, Karla (James) Clark, Taylorsville, N.C., and Karen (Lee) Eckerd, Troutman, N.C.; one special sister-in-law, Sherry Brumbaugh; and several nieces and nephews.
It was his wish to be cremated and no services are planned.
