Willard “Billy” Brock, 75, of Elizabethton, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Monday, January 9, 2023. He was born to the late John Brock and Daisy Estep Brock. Willard was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Sandra Fay Williams Brock, several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, as well as aunts, uncles, and nephews.
Willard was a member of East Fairview Free Will Baptist Church. He could often be found working on his vehicle, camping and he enjoyed sitting on the porch.
Those left to cherish his memory are two sons, Michael Brock and Leslie Brock and wife Kristen, all of Elizabethton; one daughter, Linda Brock, also of Elizabethton; one granddaughter, Mackenzie Birchfield of Johnson City; one great-granddaughter, Callie Phillips of Johnson City; and five sisters, Brenda Harvey of Farmington Hills, Mich., Tammy Bowers of Johnson City, Dimple Rasnick of Johnson City, and Maxine Lewis and husband Steve of Hampton. One brother-in-law, five sisters-in-law, as well as several nieces and nephews also survive.
A celebration of life service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday, January 12, at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, with Mr. Roy Adkins officiating. Music will be under the direction of Kevin Collins and Donna Shepherd. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, prior to the service. The family would like to give a special thank you to Rev. Carl Grindstaff and to Amedisys Hospice for their loving care, especially Megan and Jerry.
