Ronald “Darrin” Laws, 45, Elizabethton, passed away unexpectedly on December 28, 2022, in his truck at his residence. He was born May 18, 1977.
Darrin had attended Hampton High School.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Ronnie Laws of Roan Mountain, and his mom, Phyllis Street Bowman of Elizabethton.
He is survived by his partner of 13 years, Robert Handschumacher; two sisters, Lori Laws Livingston of Watauga, Tenn., and Lisa Laws of Johnson City, Tenn.; an aunt, Brenda Street Williams; four nephews; one niece; four great-nephews; one great-niece; and several relatives in Roan Mountain. He had five fur babies that he loved.
His wish was to be cremated and no service held. The family had a small private Celebration of Life service on Sunday, January 1.
Trinity Crematorium in Kingsport was chosen by the family.
