Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Darrell Ogg, 59 of Telford, and charged him with Aggravated Domestic Assault after a standoff that began late Wednesday night.
According to Sheriff Keith Sexton, Deputies responded to a domestic assault on Eden Drive in Telford at 10:43 p.m. When Deputies arrived, Ogg observed the responding officers and barricaded himself inside the home.
Ogg, who was wearing body armor, was heavily armed and had multiple weapons and ammunition staged throughout the home. He was suicidal and making homicidal threats toward deputies.
Deputies made entry into the residence after a short standoff and Ogg was taken into custody.
More than 100 rounds of various calibers of ammunition, multiple loaded magazines, four shotguns, three pistols and two rifles were removed from the residence.
Ogg is being held under a $50,000 bond and a preliminary court date is set for Monday at 1:30 in Washington County General Sessions Court.
