ETSU presenting annual Holiday Concert

JOHNSON CITY — If you are looking for some motivation to get in the festive spirit, then buy your tickets now for East Tennessee State University’s annual Holiday Concert.
It is a popular tradition that has lasted more than 50 years. The concert includes performances by Chorale, Greyscale, BucsWorth, East Tennessee Belles, the ETSU Orchestra, Percussion Ensemble and special guests, the Munsey United Methodist handbell choir. With performances scheduled for 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., the “A Light in the Darkness” concert is Saturday, Dec. 3, at the ETSU Martin Center for the Arts.
“This is a wonderful concert that features many familiar holiday tunes, in addition to some exciting new pieces,” said Dr. Alan Stevens, chair of the Department of Music at ETSU.
Tickets are available via the Martin Center Box Office. Order tickets online or call the Martin Center at (423) 439-2787. Located at 1320 W. State of Franklin Road, the Martin Center sits across from the main campus of ETSU.
