Hopwood Christian
Hopwood Christian Church, Milligan College, will have a Christmas Market that also includes a bake sale Saturday, Nov. 19, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
There will be a large selection of handmade items, arts and crafts, seasonal Christmas items, plus a large variety of baked goods and other foods.
The sale occurs the weekend preceding Thanksgiving so it is a great opportunity to purchase items that will enhance holiday celebrations and prepare for the upcoming Christmas season.
All proceeds from the sale go toward paying for the church’s building addition.
First Presbyterian
First Presbyterian Church, 119 West F St., will have both an in-person and online service Sunday at 11 a.m.
The pastor, the Rev. Dr. Brian Wyatt, will present the sermon “Gratitude and Generosity” based on Gen. 1:1 and 2:3.
Adult Forum and Youth Group will not be meeting this week, but will resume normal schedule next Sunday.
New Liberty Free Will
The New Liberty Free Will Baptist Revival Choir will present a program of patriotic music to honor its military veterans during the 11 a.m. worship service. In addition, guest musician Liz Cole will play patriotic and old-time hymns on the trumpet.
All veterans and their families are invited to attend as the church honors America and its veterans.
Lunch will be served following the service in the church fellowship center.
The church is located at 113 Peters Hollow Road near the Stoney Creek Volunteer Fire Department.
First Christian
First Christian Church, Elizabethton, will continue its series “You’ll Get Through This” based on the life of Joseph and the book by Max Lucaso at the Sunday service at 9:45 a.m. Bible school follows with classes for all ages.
The congregation is continuing its study of Twelve Extraordinary Women on Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. The study is based on the book by the same title by John McArthur.
First Christian is located at 513 Hattie Ave.

Crossroads Christian
Crossroads Christian Church’s Women’s Ministry will host the Crossroads Marketplace Saturday, Nov. 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Marketplace will have dozens of vendors with products that include handmade gifts and home decor items, jewelry, cosmetics, skin care, gourmet foods, woodworking, international and fair-trade items and quilts, as well as representatives from national direct sales companies.
Admission is free and refreshments will be served.
Many of the vendors will be giving door prizes.
Crossroads is located off I-26, exit 13 at 1300 Suncrest Drive in Gray between Daniel Boone High School and the Gray Fossil Site.
ARM Concert
A free piano Concert of Thanks will be held at Borderview Christian Church Sunday, Nov. 13, at 4 p.m.
Scott Reynolds will be the featured pianist with a host of assisting physicians, which will include Cyndie Leimbach, flute; Lindsey Williams, violinist; Raymond Morton, bass; Katie Banks, piano; Scott Fisher, drums, and Ryan Eggers, saxophone.
Musical selections will be themed around Thanksgiving.
A love offering will be received for Assistance and Resource Ministries (ARM) during the concert with members of the ARM Board of Directors assisting during the concert.
Borderview Christian is located at 1338 Bristol Highway.
The public is invited to attend.
Fork Mountain
By Way of the Cross singers from Bristol will present special singing Sunday at the 10 a.m. service at Fork Mountain Free Will Baptist Church, Roan Mountain.
Everyone is welcome.
