Man arrested following shooting in Telford

According to Washington County Sheriff Keith Sexton, a Washington County man was taken into custody on Sunday following a shooting that occurred on Rauhof Road in Telford.
Deputies responded to the scene in the early hours of Sunday morning following reports that David J. Story, 42, had shot a female inside of the residence. After a brief standoff with deputies, Story was taken into custody without incident.
The victim, whose identity is withheld pending notification of next of kin, was pronounced dead on the scene. Story is being held in the Washington County Detention Center as the investigation is ongoing and charges are pending.
