Martha Pauline Greer, 41, Elizabethton, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2022, at Johnson City Medical Center. She was born March 25, 1981 in Carter County.
Martha was a graduate of Happy Valley High School. She loved to spend time with her family, listen to music, paint, and loved to travel. She was a member of True Gospel Baptist Church.
Martha was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Dan and Martha Belle Greer, and her maternal grandparents, Luther and Ellen Lowe.
Survivors include her parents, Daryl and Lois Lowe Greer; one sister, Anna (T.J.) Lunsford, Elizabethton; one brother, Douglas Greer, Elizabethton; three nieces, Emma Greer, Gracie Greer and McKinzie Lunsford; two nephews, Tyler Lunsford and Joseph Jackson Smith; and several uncles, aunts and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday, November 3, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Dean Presnell officiating. The graveside service and interment will be at 2 p.m. Friday, November 4, at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Music will be provided by Mike Presnell and Rev. Randall Cooper. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family would like to express a special thank you for all the prayers and support that has been shown to the family. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, prior to the service.
