First Christian
First Christian Church will host a Trunk or Treat on Halloween from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Children are invited to trick-or-treat in a safe environment for families. The event will be set up in the parking lot across the street from the Elizabethton Police Department.
First Christian Church has services at 9:45 a.m. Sunday and 6 p.m. Wednesday.
The church is located at 513 Hattie Ave.
New Liberty
The Rev. Mark Potter, associate pastor at Valley Forge Free Will Baptist Church, will preach Sunday during the 11 a.m. worship service.
Everyone is encouraged to attend the service in support of the visiting preacher.
New Liberty is located at 113 Peters Hollow Road near the Stoney Creek Volunteer Fire Dept.
Doe River Baptist
Doe River Baptist Church will have a fall festival, including Trunk or Treat Sunday, Oct. 30, from 4 to 6 p.m. The festival will be held in the Christian Life Center and Trunk or Treat will be in the back parking lot. Those attending are asked to park in the front parking lot of the church.
In case of inclement weather, Trunk or Treat will be held inside the Christian Life Center.
Games, prizes, bouncy house, and lots of candy will be available to all ages. Costumes will be allowed.
Doe River Baptist is located at 113 Avon St., in the Valley Forge community.
Siam Baptist
Siam Baptist will have Trunk or Treat Sunday, Oct. 30, at 7 p.m. with candy, games, food and fun.
All youth are invited.
Valley Forge Christian
Valley Forge Christian Church will have Trunk or Treat Saturday, Oct. 29, from 6 to 8 p.m. or until supplies last.
All children are invited.
Hampton Christian
Hampton Christian Church, 810 Deerfield Lane, will have a fall festival Saturday, Nov. 5, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Featured will be canned goods, cakes, pies, breads, fall and Christmas crafts, and hayrides.
Everyone is invited.
First Free Will
Trunk or Treat will be held Sunday at First Free Will Baptist Church from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Everyone is invited.
First Presbyterian
First Presbyterian Church, 119 West F St., will have both an in-person and online worship service Sunday, Oct. 30, at 11 a.m.
The pastor, the Rev. Dr. Brian Wyatt, will present the sermon “All My Relations” based on John 1: 1-4. Adult Forum and Youth Group will meet in person and online.
