On October 22, 2022, Sandra S. Montgomery, 73, of Hampton, went to be with her Lord and her beloved husband of fifty-four years, Carl Montgomery. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Betty Payne, a nephew Tony Montgomery and a niece Kathie Wilson. Sandra was a member of Friendship Free Will Baptist Church of Hampton.
Those left to cherish her memories include her sister Jackie Honeycutt, a granddaughter Paige Montgomery, a nephew Todd Montgomery and wife, Tracy, a niece Kristy Rogers, a nephew Jason Phillips and two great-nephews C.J. Wilson and Samuel Phillips, as well as her church family.
A graveside service to honor Sandra’s life will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Pastor Danny Osborne officiating. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Everyone will meet at the cemetery at 10:50 am on Wednesday.
