Mary Alice Chambers (Campbell) passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Ft. Wayne, Ind., on September 30, 2022. She was born on March 24, 1939 in Carter County, Tenn., to the late Omar and Lola Campbell (Timbs).
She was preceded in death by her parents, her late husband, Mack Chambers, and her sisters, Beulah Crow, Daylene Keller and Tom Campbell.
Mary was blessed with a large and loving family.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Mack Chambers Jr. (Carolyn) and Beverly Elaine Dubé (David); her grandchildren, Jennifer Kuehl (Jeffrey), Zachary Cassidy, Lauren Justice (Thomas) and Vanessa Byrd (Patrick); her great-grandchildren, McKenzie Kuehl, Jaccob and Cole Cassidy, Noah, Oliver and Gabriella Justice and Tyson Byrd; and her great-great-grandchildren, Harlow and Beau Kamm. Surviving siblings are Howard Campbell, Virginia Price, Georgia Duffield, Kenneth McGhee and Edna Yates.
Services will be announced at a later date due to the complications from Hurricane Ian.
