Glenda Sharon Stout Bumgarner, 69, of Elizabethton, was a beloved mother, grandmother, wife and sister. She was surrounded by family when she went to be with her Lord on August 18, 2022.
The daughter of the late Harry and Ester Stout, Glenda was a 1971 graduate of West Wilkes High School in Millers Creek, N.C.
In addition to her parents, Glenda was preceded in death by her husband, Eulis Lee Bumgarner, and her grandson, Steven Alexander Bumgarner.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, son Tracy Bumgarner and wife Teresa, Elizabethton, daughter Lee Anne Bumgarner and wife Tania San Julian, Hampton, and daughter Jessica Broyles and husband Ben, Elizabethton; her brother, Steve Stout and wife Elizabeth, and sister Karen Dugger and husband Richard “Jarfly,” all of Elizabethton; her grandchildren that were so very precious to her, Thomas Bumgarner, Carlea Hill and Isabella Broyles, all of Elizabethton; Mike Strickland, beloved partner and second love of her life, and his daughter Carla and granddaughter Caira, all of Erwin. Several nieces, nephews and honorary grandchildren also survive.
