Jonesborough man charged with 17 counts of violation of an order of protection and other charges

According to Washington County Sheriff Keith Sexton, Troy J. Ellison, 24, of Jonesborough, was charged with 17 counts of violation of an order of protection, no contact order or restraining order.
Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies reviewed phone records and discovered that suspect made numerous telephone calls to the victim while under a court order prohibiting him from contacting the victim. The suspect was placed under arrest with a bail of $17,000 on the new charges and will appear in court at 1:30 p.m. on July 20.
