On June 29, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Marion Barroso on charges of violating the Tennessee Sex Offender Registry. The arrest was the result of an investigation into Barroso not registering on the Tennessee Sex Offender Registry as required by his conviction of attempted sexual battery on August 30, 2021, in Washington County Sessions Court.
He was arrested and transported to the Washington County Detention Center where he is currently being held on a $2,500 bond and had a court arraignment in the Washington County General Sessions Court on June 30.
