Authorities have launched a death investigation into a body found behind a Carter County business on Tuesday afternoon.
The body was reportedly discovered behind a business at 2306 State Line Road in Elizabethton.
Carter County Sheriff’s Department officials confirmed the investigation but have not released any additional details.
