Timothy Scott Campbell, 48, of Elizabethton, Tenn., went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 13, 2022, at his residence. Timothy was born December 21, 1973 in Carter County, Tenn., to the late Charles “Buckeye” Campbell Jr. and Susan Middleton Campbell. In addition to his parents, Timothy was preceded in death by his brother, Donnie Campbell; his grandparents, Charles “Buckeye” Campbell Sr. and Annabelle Campbell and James and Lorene Middleton; and his mother-in-law, Margie Malone.
Timothy had worked as a welder and was a loving, soft hearted man. He was always willing to help anyone and had taken care of his Mom and Dad before their passing as well as his mother-in-law before her passing. Timothy was of the Christian faith and was an avid gun and knife collector and was proud to be an American.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Mary Campbell, of the home; two aunts, Sherry (Ronnie) Hicks of Elizabethton and Judy Robinson of Candler, N.C.; his uncle, Bill (Cookie) Campbell of Statesville, N.C.; and his cat, whom he loved very much, Twilight.
A graveside service to celebrate Timothy’s life will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 16, at Happy Valley Memorial Park with Pastor David Seibenaler officiating. Active pallbearers will be Shawn Campbell, Billy Campbell, Joshua Hicks, Jimmy Sizemore, Jimmy Carr and Abby Brace. Dr. Brahmbhatt will serve as honorary pallbearer. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 12:50 p.m. Thursday. Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to the Carter County Animal Shelter, 135 Sycamore Shoals Drive, Elizabethton, TN 37643 in honor of Timothy.
