Hound Dogs Food Truck stayed busy during Friday night's event at Covered Bridge Park.
The First Friday event for June brought several concert goers out to listen to the country sounds of Preston Benfield and his band.
Benfield, who hails from Roan Mountain, sang many crowd favorites of old country-style artists like Meryl Haggard and Hank Williams among others.
Those attending enjoyed food from a couple of food trucks that had set up at the event.
It was just one of many events going on in the downtown area as the Carter County Omnium took to the streets Saturday and Sunday with many coming from outside the area to compete.
First Friday is held the first Friday of the month through August.
