Pauline Flo Guinn McKinney, 87, Elizabethton, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Hillview Health Center after a brief illness. She was born April 8, 1935 in Carter County to the late Claude and Rachel Puckett Guinn.
Pauline was a retired employee of Inland Container after 40 years of service. She was a member of Hunter United Methodist Church. She loved to cook, go camping and take care of people.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Bob Nidiffer, and her second husband, Jack McKinney; a sister, Lucille Guinn Collins; and four brothers, Ed Guinn, L.D. Guinn, Mack Guinn and Thomas Puckett.
Survivors include her sisters, Erma Stevens, Louise (Carmon) Whitehead and Rose (Gordon) Lewis; several nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law, Dean Guinn; and her special friends, Jim and Addie Hyder and Ford and Karen Julian.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 4, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Estel Williams and Pastor Mike Berry officiating. Interment will follow at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Jackie Collins, Bobby Collins, Stevie Guinn, Randy Guinn, Michael Whitehead, Terry Whitehead, Max Guinn and Jeff Lewis. Honorary pallbearers will be her church family and her neighbors. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to the staff of Hillview Health Center.
