Lauren Meier was named head coach of the EHS Women’s Soccer team on Thursday.

Meier has taught at EHS for four years teaching Health Science. She received her BS degree from ETSU in Cardiopulmonary Science.

She worked as a respiratory therapist before transitioning to the classroom teacher.

Meier coached for one year as an assistant under Bill McClay in 2021 and was involved with youth soccer for many years.

She was a part of four Louisiana State Championship teams (1998-2002) and played collegiately at Carson-Newman (2002-2003).
