Betty Jane Whaley Pelletier, 56, Johnson City, passed away May 2, 2022, at her residence. She was born September 29, 1965 in Elizabethton.
Betty was a graduate of Hampton High School. She loved camping, hiking and skiing. In earlier years she attended Fish Springs Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Mack Whaley, and two brothers, Tim and David Whaley.
Survivors include her mother, Jane Whaley Richardson; one niece, Amanda Whaley Sutphin; one great-nephew, Roadie Sutphin; her sister-in-law, Mildred Richardson; and her little Buddy “Bella.”
It was her wish to be cremated and no services are planned at this time.
