Short circuit in receptacle requires emergency response

Firefighters responded to an early morning call to discover a short circuit in a power outlet at a residence at 155 Old Stoney Creek Road. No fire damage was reported and no one was injured. The Stoney Creek Volunteer Fire Department sent three fire trucks and a tanker to the scene where they were joined by EMS and a Carter County Sheriff’s Deputy.
