Shooting victim found at Roan Mountain Valero, CCSO investigating

A man with gunshots wounds made it to the Valero gas station in Roan Mountain where authorities were called.
The Carter County Sheriff’s Department received a call just after 8 p.m. Wednesday evening and responded to the gas station on Highway 19E to find the man who had been shot.
The man was transported to the hospital where his condition is unknown at this time.
Currently, there is no suspect in the shooting and the location where the shooting took place is also under investigation by the sheriff’s office.
