JOHNSON CITY – ETSU women’s soccer head coach Jay Yelton announced on Wednesday the dates and information for their summer Day and ID camps.
Below is all of the information regarding the Day camps and ID camps.
DAY CAMP ONE
Dates: June 6-9
Ages: 6-13 (boys and girls)
Time: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. (half-day camp finishes at Noon)
Location: Summers-Taylor Stadium
Cost: $190 (full day); $160 (half day); On May 1, the price increases to $215
*Lunch will be provided each day | Each camper receives a free T-shirt
DAY CAMP TWO
Dates: June 20-23
Ages: 6-13 (boys and girls)
Time: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. (half-day camp finishes at Noon)
Location: Summers-Taylor Stadium
Cost: $190 (full day); $160 (half day); On May 1, the price increases to $215
*Lunch will be provided each day | Each camper receives a free T-shirt
About the Day Camps:
Come out to camp and have a chance to interact with the current ETSU women’s soccer team. Many of our players serve as staff coaches and they do an excellent job of getting involved with the campers on and off the field. Many who arrive as campers leave as fans, and we hope to see some of our camp alums at our ETSU fall games. Day Camp is focused on teaching fundamental skills and introducing basic game strategies. This is an outstanding camp for those just learning soccer or for those already playing on competitive teams. Campers are grouped according to age and ability and each camper should bring their own soccer ball or purchase the ETSU ball ($25). Check-in will take place on the first day from 8:30-9:00 A.M. at the ETSU Soccer Complex.ETSU Soccer Day Camp has a certified trainer on-site to handle medications and deal with any issues, small or big, that might arise during your camper’s session.
JUNE ID CAMP
Dates: June 11
Ages: Rising freshmen to seniors in high school (girls only)
Time: 8:30 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Location: Summers-Taylor Stadium
Cost: $160; On May 1, the price increases to $215
*Lunch and dinner will be provided
About the ID Camp:
Open to girls who are rising freshmen to seniors in high school. The June ID Camp is designed to provide exposure to the East TN State University coaching staff. On-field instruction, small-sided games, and 11v11 matches combined with discussions about nutrition and strength & conditioning proved an all-around view into the life of an ETSU student-athlete. This camp will give you a chance to see more about Buccaneer Soccer and an in-depth view of our facilities. Limited space is available.
