Donald Max Meredith

Donald Max Meredith, 94, of Elizabethton, Tenn., passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital. He was born in Tazewell, Va., to the late Robert Jefferson Meredith and Daisy Meredith.
Donald served in the Air Force and was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He was a skilled carpenter and enjoyed playing the guitar and fishing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Meredith, daughter, Mary Meredith, four brothers and two sisters.
Those left to cherish his memory are his three children, Dianna Meredith of Sterling, Va., Donna Lee Meredith, and Bufford Meredith and wife Pamela Meredith of Elizabethton; grandchildren, Amy Elizabeth Knapp (Emmett), Jacob Austin Meredith (Emily), Sarah Elizabeth Meredith and Anna Elizabeth Jonsrud; six great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
