Kaylee Hollifield wins Miss Tennessee 2022

Kaylee Christina Hollifield won the title of Miss Tennessee 2022 in Gatlinburg this past weekend. She also won the Best Interview Award, Best Personality Award, Fashion Runway Award, and Rising Star Award for her hours of community service. This is Kaylee’s second state pageant she has competed in since coming out of a four-year retirement and her first time competing in the Miss division. She was the youngest in her division, and the youngest to ever win in the Miss division at age 18. Kaylee started competing in pageants at six months old and she has held several State titles and two National titles.
Kaylee is the daughter of Chris and Monica Hollifield of Elizabethton. She is a senior at Elizabethton High School where she is a 4.0 Top 10% honors student. She is a varsity cheerleader, a member of the National Honor Society, Mountain Club, FCA, and Key Club. She attends Pleasant Beach Baptist Church.
Kaylee has been very active in her community since she was 9 years old. She started her own community service platform Kaylee’s Helping Hands at age 9. She has traveled to over five surrounding states helping the homeless and less fortunate. She won the Presidential Gold Service Medal in 2015 and the Governor’s Star Award in 2018 for her dedication and countless hours of community service. She will attend East Tennessee State University in the fall and obtain a Bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Foreign Language. She plans to pursue a career working with the FBI.
Kayla will travel to compete in the National Competition in July this summer in French Lick, Ind. She looks forward to representing Tennessee but most of all her hometown Elizabethton.
