FROM STAFF REPORTS
Local softball teams continue to prepare for the upcoming season by hosting and participating in scrimmages with other local teams.
On Thursday, the Elizabethton Lady Cyclones and Unaka Lady Rangers hosted teams from West Ridge and Crockett as each team swapped opponents for a scrimmage.
With snow and cold weather predicted over the weekend, teams will look to get back on track this week as temperatures once again rise to spring-like conditions.
Star Photographer Brandon Hyde was at both scrimmages and provided images from both Elizabethton and Unaka.
