People everywhere are feeling the pain from paying higher gas prices at the pump as prices continue to rise on a daily basis. With gas prices at or above $4 a gallon, a vehicle that once cost $30 to fill up now will dig deeper into their billfold as now it will cost $50 for the same tank.
Many believe the higher gas prices are an attempt to force consumers toward electric vehicles while others are calling for the reopening of pipelines in the United States to provide the oil needed to produce gas.
Regardless, local residents join the millions of Americans who are enduring the same pinch with some more than others.
Star Photographer Brandon Hyde caught up with people filling up at local gas stations who share in the pain at the pumps.
