February 17 was Random Acts of Kindness Day.
Unaka Elementary School celebrated Random Acts of Kindness Day by creating a bulletin board full of “Random Acts of Kindness” for students and staff to perform throughout the day.
Some examples were:
“Eat Lunch with Someone New”
“Write a Thank You Note for the Custodian”
“Leave a Note in a Co-Worker’s Mailbox”
By the end of the day, over 200 acts of kindness were performed by students and staff on February 17 and 18.
