On a special night for Cyclone basketball where Homecoming 2022 was celebrated during the Elizabethton Cyclones game with Tennessee High, Cyclone Nation took time to recognize two players for reaching the 1,000-point plateau and a coach for achieving his 100th win as the Lady Cyclone head coach.
Junior Lina Lyon was presented a 1,000-point game ball before the girls’ contest. Lyon recorded her 1,000th point in a game against Sullivan East in Bluff City.
Also, Lady Cyclone head coach Lucas Andrews was presented a 100-win game ball by his team and Athletic Director Forest Holt after Lyon was recognized.
Andrews recorded the win during the Lady Cyclones Christmas trip to Tampa to participate in the Tampa Invitational.
Prior to the boy’s contest, Coach Lucas Honeycutt presented a 1,000-point game ball to senior Jake Roberts who reached the mark in a game against J.I. Burton High School from Norton, Virginia.
