Michael Watson, 66, of Elizabethton, Tenn., departed this life on January 5, 2022.
Michael graduated from Elizabethton High School in 1973.
Michael’s hobbies were listening to music, building computer systems and fishing with his brother, Donald Watson. His most memorable quality was his artistic ability. He loved to paint and draw pictures. His paintings were featured in many art shows around this region. He was also a member of the Princeton Art Center in Johnson City, Tenn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Reba Watson.
Michael is survived by his brothers, Donald (Angie) Watson and Allen Watson; sister, Lisa Watson, Gladys Glispie and Remell Watson; four nephews; five nieces; five great-nephews; three great-nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services for Michael Watson will be held at the Birchette Mortuary Chapel of Love, Monday, January 10, at 1 p.m. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until the hour of service. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.birchettemortuary.com
