Pauline Joyce Jones, age 82, of Johnson City, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 11, 2021, from Sycamore Shoals Hospital in Elizabethton, TN.

Joyce was born in Elizabethton, TN, to the late Henry Roberts and Luna Ingram Roberts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Fred Jones; two brothers, Clarence Arnold Roberts and Herman Ray Roberts; and one sister, Addie Mae Dooley.

Joyce retired from the VA Medical Center. She was an avid crafter who enjoyed quilting and needlework, among other things.

She was a member of Eastside Freewill Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish her memory include two sisters, Peggy Dean Swanson of Elizabethton, TN, and Scarlett Smith of Hampton, TN; several nephews: Doug Dooley (Juanita), Bobby Dooley, Greg Swanson (Thelma), TJ Swanson (Melissa), and Dwayne Smith.

A private service is to be held Friday, December 17, 2021, at 2:00 PM, at Happy Valley Memorial Park with the Reverend Randy Johnson officiating.
