Not to be outdone by Valley Forge, a house in Stony Creek is no slouch. The lit up cross is a nice reminder of the reason for the season.

Even Fatz got in on the Christmas light action!
Driving anywhere through Carter County, it doesn’t take long to see what many are gearing up for around 14 days from now as front lawns and hedges as well as house eaves have been neatly fitted with bright, twinkling Christmas lights to welcome another Christmas to the area.
Those decorations spread all the way into town and adorn business fronts and make a wonderful place to take a stroll at the Covered Bridge Park.
And one can’t forget the downtown Christmas parade on Saturday evening at 6 p.m. with the parade kicking off at Big John’s Closeouts.
Star Photographer Brandon Hyde was out and captured some beautiful Christmas lights for our readers to enjoy.
