T.A. Dugger reaps benefits of undefeated season

The T.A. Dugger Jr. Cyclone football team had an ultra-successful year as the team finished the year undefeated allowing opponents to score a season-total of 36 points against them.
Several members of the team were recognized for their great season in the Big 8 Middle Conference.
Rhett Slagle was selected as the Big 8 Middle Offensive Player of the Year. Slagle had a combined 29 total touchdowns on the season with 14 rushing scores, 10 passing scores, four defensive touchdowns, and one returned kickoff for a score.
Justius Wallin was tabbed as the 2021 Big 8 Middle Defensive Player of the Year. Wallin recorded 48 tackles with eight tackles for loss while creating five turnovers.
Jaiden Wallin was named to the 2021 Big 8 Middle All-Conference team after a campaign that saw the bruising running back rush for 901 yards on only 65 carries scoring 15 times. Wallin averaged 13.6 yards per carry. As a linebacker, he recorded 38 tackles with five tackles for loss. He was a three-year starter at linebacker for the Jr. Cyclones.
Jack Blevins received 2021 Big 8 Middle All-Conference honors. Blevins recorded 30 tackles with two tackles for loss. Blevins had three interceptions on the season. On offense, Blevins accounted for 197 receiving yards on 12 receptions with four touchdowns.
Colton Killion received 2021 Big 8 Middle All-Conference honors after helping lead an offensive line that allowed the offensive backfield to rush for 1,725 yards and pass for another 647 yards. On defense, recorded 16 tackles with six tackles for loss.
Braydon Rainwater also received 2021 Big 8 Middle All-Conference honors as he helped lead the offense to the big numbers on the season as a lineman and on defense recorded 35 tackles with 15 tackles for loss.
Riley Jones achieved 2021 Big 8 Middle All-Conference honors as an edge blocker on offense that helped the team accumulate the great rushing and passing numbers. He also recorded 31 tackles with nine tackles for loss and forced two turnovers.
Justin Whitehead was named to the 2021 Big 8 Middle All-Conference after accumulating 362 all-purpose yards with six touchdowns offensively. On defense, Whitehead had 21 tackles, two interceptions, and two fumble recoveries.
Kyler Hartley collected 2021 Big 8 Middle All-Conference honors from his line position where he helped the offense to their big output on the season. Hartley was also a big part of the defensive line that held opponents to 36 points total.
