Christopher Lane Ingram, 46, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 11, 2021, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital. He was born August 16, 1975 in Charlotte, N.C.
Christopher was a 1994 graduate of Cloudland High School. He worked for Fieldcore as a Turbine Mechanic for 14 years.
Christopher loved riding his 4-wheeler, playing World of Warcraft, aggravating everyone he knew, shooting fireworks and handing out Christmas presents.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Jennifer Morton Ingram; his children, Julianne and Kyle Ingram; his father, Jerry Ingram Sr. and wife Kay Buchanan; his mother, Carolyn Bowers; his siblings, Autumn Ingram, Lynn Ingram, Jamie Ingram and RC Willis; several nieces and nephews; a special cousin, Chad Smith; several uncles and aunts; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law; and his special friends and coworkers.
A memorial service will be conducted at 6 p.m. Monday, October 18, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Brandon Blevins officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. The family would like to send a special “Thank You” to members of the Stoney Creek Volunteer Fire Department, members of the Carter County EMS and the doctors and nurses of Sycamore Shoals Hospital.
