Look who I found sliding down the chute slide at Harmon Park! Is it Spiderman? No, well not yet anyway, but it’s five-year-old Liam Presnell, who wants to be just like Spiderman.

Time for a cuteness overload. Two-year-old Mikelya Boyd went from smiling to bashful in the time it took to raise the camera and make this photo. But, she was back to smiling, well as long as I didn’t point the camera at her, in like five seconds.

Jachin Pike pops up into a Tire Grind in a parking lot in downtown Elizabethton. Pike along with many other riders and skateboarders is awaiting the long-promised skate and bike park that has been in the proposal/planning stages of the City of Elizabethton for almost 10 years now.
Cooler temperatures and overcast skies on Monday combined for a perfect day for kids and parents alike to take advantage of the park.
Whether riding a bike, taking a swing while looking at social media, or searching for four-leaf clovers, area residents didn’t waste a minute as they took advantage of the wonderful parks the county has to offer.
Star Photographer Larry Souders was out and about and found several people enjoying a break in the showers and cooler temperatures.
