A time of celebration and remembrance… Annual Relay for Life held Saturday in downtown Elizabethton
There are not too many families who at one time or another have not been impacted by a disease that doesn’t have any respect of person or age for that matter and that is cancer.
On Saturday in downtown Elizabethton, the annual Relay for Life took place in person as those who have successfully battled and defeated cancer came together to celebrate with other survivors as well.
Also, those who lost their battle to the disease were remembered by lit luminaries later in the evening that stretched across and around the Covered Bridge Park area.
Star Photographer Brandon Hyde was downtown and captured some great images from the event including a group of ROTC students from Daniel Boone High School who attended the event.
