StarPhoto/Larry N. Souders The ongoing paving project between the Milligan Highway and G. Street backs up traffic on Hwy. 67 heading into and out of Elizabethton. They have just about completed it, but because of weather it may yet take a few more days.
StarPhoto/Larry N. Souders Drivers are urged to use caution as they travel on Hwy. 67 between the Milligan Highway and G. Street, as the paving project continues to create minor traffic backups and delays between the two intersections into this weekend.

It seems like there are not enough hours in a day to get everything done, especially for a working man. Better words couldn’t sum it up more than Country artist John Conlee’s song called “Working Man”.
Those lyrics go something like this:
Stumble from my good warm bed

It’s coffee, eggs & bacon time

The boss is in his usual mood
