Mae Pritchard, 94, Elizabethton, passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at Franklin Woods Community Hospital, Johnson City.
A native of Butler, she was a daughter of the late Jerry Myer and Anna Paratine Norris Pritchard.
Mae was employed for several years at Shadowline Industries, Boone, N.C. She loved to sew and read.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Mary Pritchard Cable, Winnie Ruth Bailey, Martha Pauline Irick and Leona Grindstaff, and three brothers, Leonard Butler Pritchard, Charlie Norris and Spencer Pritchard.
Survivors include her daughter, Charlotte Hardin, Elizabethton; a granddaughter, Melodie Miller, Bennett, Colo.; two great-grandsons, Ryan Disher and Israel Miller; and several nieces and nephews.
The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 7, in the Norris Cemetery, Butler, with Rev. R.L. Poole officiating. Interment will follow the service. Music will be provided by Ray Price. Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Saturday, will be Ryan Disher, Israel Miller, Robert Price, Michael Price, Jonathan Price and Kevin Price. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to the nurses and staff of ICU of Franklin Woods Community Hospital. Friends may register their presence at the funeral home Friday afternoon or Saturday morning.
