You can’t get into the pool until you get your ticket, which means seeing Victoria Nanney at the front gate. Nanney, who is also a kindergarten teacher at Westside Elementary the other nine months of the year, has spent the last 13 summers working at Franklin Pool in various jobs along the way.

Chloe Johnson, is celebrating the Milwaukee Bucks winning the NBA crown earlier this by making big splashes in Franklin Pool. Johnson, a native of Milwaukee Wisconsin, is on vacation here in Elizabethton through this weekend.

Kaeli Sam, a five-season veteran Lifeguard at Franklin Pool, has to laugh at some of the antics going on in and around the pool, but she’s ready to blow the whistle if things get a little too out of hand.
With temperatures hitting the 90s, there has been no better way to stay cool than spending time in the waters of a swimming pool.
While some have pools in their backyard, others still take full advantage of the Elizabethton Parks and Recreation Franklin Pool which has been staying quite busy as of late.
Star Photographer Larry N. Souders stopped by the pool recently and found several youngsters and adults alike taking a dip to help them stay cooled down under the hot sun.
