A big yellow “Thank You” bus, filled with smiling children from the local Boys and Girls Club of Elizabethton/Carter County rolled up to the front doors to surprise Club supporters on Monday. Club Kids Baylee and Victoria came to the doors with hand-painted “thank you” rocks and handwritten notes, to express their appreciation for those who supported the Club’s most recent fundraiser, the Dino Senesi Classic Golf Tournament held at the Elizabethton Golf Course on Friday, June 11. The other children on the bus waved brightly colored “thank you” signs out the bus windows. Children included Mason, Gabriel, Jess, Robert, Isaiah, Adley, Josie, Victoria, Addison, Matthew, Calista, Amelia, Ayla, Baylee, Kylinn and Olivia. Club staff members accompanying the children were Tiffany Judd, Resource Development and Marketing Director; Lacey Turbyfill, Hunter Site Director; Shelby Tyler, Youth Development Professional; and Logan Payne, bus driver.
