Not every birthday party held at Cat Island Park is for the little ones. With each of the husbands off shooting a round of golf, Katie Cooper (L), Kathy Ellis holding eight-month-old Davis Howard, celebrate Annie Howard’s birthday.
With school out and many already taking advantage of vacations to the beach as well as the mountains, many are still finding ways to take advantage of outdoor activities here locally.
From attending one of the new Elizabethton River Rider baseball games, walking along one of the many walkways, and visiting parks scattered throughout the area, local residents are just enjoying being outside and being together with family and friends.
