Alice Geraldine “Gerri” Garrette Smith

Alice Geraldine “Gerri” Garrette Smith, age 69, of Denver, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021, at Atrium Health-Main in Charlotte.  Gerri was born April 5, 1952, in Buchanan County, VA, to the late Joseph Wiley Garrette Jr. and Pansy Frances Keen Garrette.  She was a member of Mt. Anderson Baptist Church in Maiden.
 She is survived by: husband of 49 years:  Fred Smith of the home, daughter:  Natasha Kearney and husband William of Denver and two grandsons:  Nolan Kearney, Reid Kearney.
 A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at 1:00 pm at Mt. Anderson Baptist Church Cemetery in Maiden with Rev. Donald Cline officiating.  The family will speak to friends following the graveside service.
