Roan Street Free Will
Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church will have an in-car service Sunday at 11 a.m. in the fellowship hall parking lot.
Minister Brett Jones will provide the message.
Those attending are asked to tune in on their car radio at 89.7 FM to listen. They are also asked to stay in their cars.
First Christian
First Christian Church will offer an in-person worship service at 9:45 a.m. Sunday along with a live radio service on 90.5 FM at 9:45 a.m. to those who remain to stay in their cars. Also, the worship will be posted on Facebook at 8 p.m. Sunday.
The congregation is studying the Bible book on Galations on Wednesday evenings at 6 o’clock.
Michael Klaus is minister.
Borderview Christian
Borderview Christian Church, located at 1338 Bristol Highway, will resume in-person worship Sunday, Feb. 7.
In order to maintain social distancing, the congregation will go to a two-morning worship service format. The first service is at 9 a.m. Sunday School will follow at 10:15 a.m. with classes for all ages.
During Sunday School, the sanctuary will be sanitized in preparation for the second worship service at 11 a.m.
The services will be identical to that all members will witness the same worship experience.
Those attending are asked to sit in designated open seats only. Also, everyone is asked to wear masks.
Services will continue to be live-streamed on Facebook and on YouTube.
“We believe is it important to bring the community of believers back together with the goal of keeping everyone safe,” said church officials.
First Presbyterian
First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton, will have an on-line worship service Sunday at 11 a.m. The pastor, the Rev. Dr. Brian Wyatt, will present a sermon based on Ex. 20:17 titled “I Need Some Air Jordans.”
Youth and Adult Forums, Wednesday Meditation, and Thursdays with Jesus will all meet online this week.
All in-person events remain cancelled until further notice.
New Liberty
The Paul & Judy Jones Family will provide special music at the 11 a.m. worship service Sunday. The message will be presented by Pastor Nick Colbaugh.
In addition to attending the services, other options include live-streaming at www.nlfwbchurch.com and via 93.3 FM for those who wish to remain in their cars.
New Liberty Free Will is located at 113 Peters Hollow Road near the Stoney Creek Volunteer Fire Department.
