Elizabethton’s 2021 Basketball Homecoming was so much different as others as this year’s homecoming court had no escorts but that didn’t take away from the pageantry of the night’s events as members from each class at EHS stood in the middle of the gym waiting to see if they had been selected as part of the court or possibly the queen.

In the freshman class, Miss Bailee VanHuss was named the Freshman Princess. Miss Olivia Holly was tabbed as the Sophomore Princess.

The junior class chose Miss Morgan Guinn as the Junior Princess while Miss McKendra Norris represented the senior class as their Senior Princess.

Students from all classes voted for the court and when all was said and done, senior Miss Kallista Deprimo was named as 2021 EHS Basketball Homecoming Queen.

Rachel Williams, the 2020 EHS Basketball Homecoming Queen did the coronation of the new queen after Deprimo’s name was called out.

The Cyclones split their contest on the evening with the girls winning while the boys suffered a narrow defeat.
