First Christian
First Christian Church, Elizabethton, will have a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service at 11:30 p.m. Dec. 24. The service is for the entire family.
Wednesday, Dec. 30, there will be a “fireside chat” at 6 p.m. for those interested to visit the church and talk to the minister and leaders. “This is a great way to get to know us,” said Minister Michael Klaus.
In-person services are held at 9:45 a.m. each Sunday. Also, a parking lot service is held at 9:45 a.m. Those attending can tune in to the worship service on their car radio at 90.5 FM.
Children and youth programming is held at 9:45 a.m. Sunday and at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Church leaders and the congregation of First Christian Church wish everyone a Merry Christmas.
Carter Christian
Carter Christian Church, located at 1765 Highway 91, Stoney Creek, will have a community candlelight and communion service Thursday, Dec. 24, at 8 p.m.

Grace Baptist
A Christmas Eve Candlelight Service will be held Dec. 24 at 5 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church, Broad Street Ext.
The birth of Christ will be celebrated with preaching and communion.
First Baptist
First Baptist, Elizabethton, will have a Zoom Christmas Eve Service. Families are invited to participate by lighting their candles and celebrating communion together. Families can pick up communion supplies and the Christ candle for their homes on Sunday, Dec. 20, at the morning service.
“Together we will light the candle and celebrate communion together. It will be a special time of devotion, reflection, communion, and fellowship,” said Pastor Todd Hallman.
Roan Street Free Will
Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church will have an in-car service at 10 a.m. Sunday in the church fellowship parking lot.
Minister Brett Jones will present the message.
Those attending can tune in to 89.7 FM to listen. Also, those attending are asked to stay in their cars.
First Presbyterian
First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton, will have an online worship service at 11 a.m. Sunday.
The Rev. Dr. Robert Lowry will present the sermon “Greetings, Favored One” based on Luke 1: 26-28.
Youth and Adult Forums, Wednesday Meditation, and Thursdays with Jesus will all meet online this week.
All in-person events remain canceled until further notice.
