Todd Houston and his family began their ministry Dec. 1 at the Elizabethton Church of Christ. The local congregation was established in 1944 and Houston is only the third full-time minister in that time. The Houston family most recently labored for four years at the Rockwood Church of Christ in Rockwood, Tenn. Todd and his wife, Amanda Joy, have three children, Casper, seven, Hattie Joy, five, and Everett, three. The Elizabethton Church of Christ is located at 137 E. C St.
